Founded on the legacy of Shri S. Somanathan, born in 1953 at Sirkali, our journey in traditional South Indian vegetarian catering began with his dedication and passion. At just 18, he mastered the art of Ugranam in Anandandavapuram near Mayiladuthurai. His expertise grew through his work at Kaliyakudi Hotel and with renowned names such as Jaimahee Catering Services, J.D. Catering Service, and J.V. Catering.
With over 40 years of experience, Shri Somanathan has served countless weddings and special occasions, including landmark celebrations of 70th, 80th, 90th, and even 100th birthdays.
Established in 1991, S S CATERING SERVICE continues this tradition of excellence.
Since 2016, we have also been delivering Diwali sweets and savories to homes, alongside catering for a wide range of occasions including:
